I recently received a FINRA 8210 letter and want to better understand what it means and how I should proceed in this situation. I understand that this letter may be related to a request for information or documents during an investigation, but I am not quite sure exactly what steps to take. Could you explain what such letters usually contain and what the purpose of the letter is? It would also be helpful to know what the consequences might be if I do not comply with the request or respond appropriately. Does anyone have experience interacting with FINRA in a similar situation, and what advice do you have on how best to respond to such letters? Thank you!!!
