How to increase traffic on a web site?

Hi everyone!!! I have a small online store where I sell handmade natural beauty products. I really love my business and try to offer only quality products that really work. The problem is that not many people know about my website and I feel that I need to change something to attract more customers.

I want to increase traffic to not only increase sales, but also to create a community of like-minded people who are interested in natural cosmetics. Maybe someone here can advise on the best way to promote such a site? I tried publishing posts in social networks, but it gives too little result. I'm considering different options, from SEO to advertising, but I'm afraid of wasting money.
